Don’t like what an expert said about X? Type it into a search engine, and in 10 seconds you can play at being a serious devotee to that question. On some sites, anyone can be a contributor, no expertise needed. You can act just like an expert in no time without actually getting involved. Sure, you don’t really understand the issues, but armed with your informational sound bites, you look like you do."
